How to have a job
It made me

How I did it: I decided to get a job shortly after I turned sixteen. I happened to be at a store I liked and decided I might as well apply. Before I even had a chance to apply anywhere else, I had an interview and was hired. That was pretty nice. Lessons & tips: Be willing to go beyond your job description and fill whatever need you see. Do the jobs everyone else complains about with a smile on your face. Ask questions to learn how to better do your job. Take the chance to learn other jobs when it's given to you. You'll be given a lot more opportunity and advancement in your workplace (not to mention a possible raise).

How I did it: So my jobhunt ended in 7 days, and so I was ecstatic. Who cares what you are going to do in a job as long as you are getting the money, that too a pretty nice salary for a fresher. That was the mindset when I got the job and joined the company. But the work was well below my expectations, not withstanding the amount of knowledge I had gained in studies, and not at all challenging. Only the money was there, and colleagues were there. i successfully finished my near hire training and i passed my final interview but i still need to pass two levels more in order for me to get this job. I really want to ba a call center agent…
i guess i have to be a lot more positive and to stay focused that i will get the job….

I no longer pride myself as one of the artists as I’m being corporatised. Working with the largest media company now, my works are mostly web-based, revenue driven and lack refinement. As I wonder if it is a good choice to have taken this direction, I enjoy having the monthly pay check. Guess I’m growing old… it has come to the point where I realise money is important.
