It’s totally worth it! I like it better than like, the D40 and D60 because it got a better grip and (in my pov, lol) takes better pictures ;) (okay, so not true. But still)

Even though the D50 is a little outdated, it is still (I believe and am told) miles better than the D40. I recommend this for anyone new to photography looking for a Nikon camera. I got it used with a couple other lenses for a little over the price of D40. And now I just have fun with it…a lot
The d50 is amazing. I’ve had it since the summer and was stunned that I could just pick it up and shoot killer pictures with it. I’m still learning it, but its the best camera ever. All the auto settings are easy to use and its ver intuitive. My pics are on Flickr at somesmokingmonkeys.
Ive got two choices, can anybody help?
A Nikon d50 or an olympus E500 ?
Any advice?
Thanks in advance.
i receive the d50 yesterday and i have throughly enjoyed taking pictures with it. it’s been everything i was expecting.
they tried to deliver the camera friday but the office was closed. i went to kadair’s camera yesterday and bought a skylight filter to protect the lens and screen protectors so that i would be ready for when the camera arrives monday.
It’s a shitty camera. As a photographer, I think the Canon digital series has better quality and is more user friendly.
i’ve purchased the d50 but i’m presently waiting on it to be delivered. it should be here in a few days. i originally wanted to get a d70 but after researching it i decided that the d50 was better for my needs. so i purchased it online.
