finish my screenplay

but surely… Almost a complete first act. Really need to start lighting a fire under my ass.

I am really confused by script writing software. I am not very good at formatting on my own…I do have a book that I’m reading that talks about where to set the margins and whatnot. I just think that script writing software would be a lot easier in the long run.

I’m about 20 pages in, but already I’m about to halt the writing to work on scene cards.

I started it, now I gotta finish it.

Too many things going on… lets revisit this after I am a good photographer or more successful with the clothing business.

20 pages in, the next 100 are just kind of looming there

After four years of film school, I finally fell in love with the process of making movies. Seeing my short film, Second Eulogy, come to life, was a revelation. I am working on my first feature length screenplay, When Heroes Come Home.

I finished my screenplay yesterday. I’ll still do some revisions and tweaking, but I typed “The End” and the story complete. It was completely worth it. Seriously, I walked around last night with a sloppy dumb smile.

I’m still only 20 or so pages from completing another screenplay, so it should be (at least) two done in a year. I quit working for 2008 to complete all unfinished projects, and I’m well on my way.

The sense of completion feels so damned good.

How many years should it take to finish a screenplay? Sylvester Stallone wrote Rocky in a long weekend, for God’s sake! Not that Sly my role model—but I did live in South Philly for a long time!
