I absolutely love my new friends. Russ stopped by on a whim to drop off “sick supplies” when he found out I was sick. Nell sent her love and support. Aaron… well, Aaron is Aaron…lol Steve keeps checking on me too. And Arleen, my new co-worker, is so loving and supportive, esp regarding our work situation.

I went to church for the first time in a really long time. When I was walking in, I turned around and my good friend George was right there and gave me a great big hug. He held me close for a moment and whispered in my ear “thank you for coming to see me”. I know what he meant. We had a great conversation after meditation on Friday. The moment was innocent and beautiful. :) 5 months ago

I have to say my need to pull is finally starting to pay off. When I cancelled on an event, 1 of the girls from the group texted me to say that she was sad and was going to miss me. How awesome is that???? I love her.That was so cool :) 8 months ago

Since my closest friend from work left for America to begin a new life, I’ve sort of fallen out of contact with him since then.

Time to network again, which being extroverted is not such a bad deal but I do hate the years of work it takes to build up a good friendship, if there was any way to hop, skip and jump it I’d love to know. 8 months ago

Meetup is the way to go! The Super Hero pub crawl was co-sponsored by one of my Meetup groups and the next day I met with another Meetup to go exploring Union Station & Olvera Street. Oh that was awesome. We had such a great time. And it was wonderful to meet people I normally wouldn’t have met. I really liked that group, I hope I get to see them again! 14 months ago
