see Spamalot on Broadway

Wow! What a great show! It was better than I expected. As a long time Python fan, it was a dream come true to see this show on stage. It was actually better than the movie it’s loosely based on because, let’s face it, there’s nothing like live theatre. At one point, everyone on stage was cracking up and trying so hard not to show it, that the show actually had to stop for a minute while they collected themselves. Hank Azaria was adlibbing like crazy and David Pierce is one of the most underrated physical comedians I’ve ever seen. For those of you who are going, buy tickets well in advance and get a seat in the orchestra – it’s worth it. There are several online ticket sellers that offer discounts. I got mine through Theatremania.com
