I am going to start with learning Spring, of course as soon as I’ve understood the basics :) I am going to learn it parallel to the mainstream learning of Java itself (or rather closing the blank spots I am still having) and together with the Hibernate framework.
I think this should be a good start to understanding how software really works. And to land a good job :) :) :) of course.
The progress is slower than I thought. I just have to take this as a hobby instead of getting frustrated because it takes such a large chunk of my free time. I guess this took the place of my previous learning hobby .
Going through Sang Shin’s online J2ee course. So far I have submitted 4 assignments, and working on the 5th.
But was never disipline enough to really sit down and do it.
Keith Pitty is aiming to be in bed by 11 pm tonight
paid my bills for the last 7 years, so it has definitely been worth it from that point of view!
Strut more.
Studied a few from Head First Servlets and JSP.
Need to do keep working on them.
I am working through the EJB tutorial on the Sun website and I must say that it’s going good. I already have a basic understanding of J2EE and how it works, but of course there’s still a lot to do.
I’ll be working for a real-life J2EE project soon and hope to gather some hands-on experience.
