Write better lyrics

It’s not really lyrics I have trouble with.

It’s coming up with melodys for them and finding a subject to write about.

Once I have atleast and idea for both it’s fairly easy.
So yeah, I just need to find more stuff to write about. :/

im in a band called the public enemies flames of black fire
its easy writing lyrics if you try really hard.
for one think of how you feel (depressed happy sad angry full of crap energetic akward crazy random etc.)
write down your feeling like:
this is how its gonna go
give me mi life back and walk the road
dont turn around and come running back
because love is what you lack
please do not use this. its an example from mi bands song book that is going on air in 2 weeks

First I cant write in the first place (im getting better) and then I try thinking of a tune ugh

it seems like all my lyrics are copies and pastes of other songs. at least the way i want to sing them. poo!

My writing skills have improved tremendously since my creative writing class.
Somehow, I failed the class.
but that’s alright. I’ve gained a lot from it.

I want to be able to write lyrics that I don’t loathe a year later when I’ve outgrown them.

mr spang is baaaack. which means actual constructive criticism (pssst. meaning: things not written by a substitute teacher who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.).. i’m just getting words out there for now.. building on them day by day.. seeeiigggghhhh sometimes i’d rather just play guitar than think of the words.
sometimes my guitar just speaks for herself.
