paraglide

I almost got to do this, but not yet. There are a couple places to go paragliding here in Korea, and I think it’s pretty cheap (compared to the USA). I plan to research this and to go sometime this next year.

I finally got around to it and took a tandem introduction ride last summer! It was great! The flight company I went with was a little disorganized, and I ended up doing a lot of standing around waiting for them to get organized, which was a little bothersome, and the ride up to the Launch site was kind of weird, (20 people crammed into the back of an old truck!). But once we got to the launch site, my training pilot was great, explained everything very well, it was a great flight and he even let me steer for a bit.
Very fun, and I’d like to go again/more often, but the training and flying is a little time-consuming and weather dependent, and there’s just not enough time to do everything!

I will have a to travel a little for this one but it is something I have wanted to do for about twenty years but never put myself out – sometimes you gotta get of your arse I guess.

I saw this as one of the roadblocks on Amazing Race, and decided I wanted to do it.

i went paragliding at torrey pines gliderport in san diego, CA. it was one of the coolest experiences ever :)

Did my first week of paragliding in the Alps in France ! 13 solo flights.. loved it ! Signed up for a week in Morocco.

I should be doing this goal soon. I know the ownwer of a paragliding company in town and I plan on going with him this fall when it’s less busy

Paragliding is definitely worth it its worth your money and you get an amazing view from the sky!
