go swimming again

i can’t go swimming because i’m so FREAKING insecure
it’s nearly summer
i need to swim i miss the water so much
as soon as i get my restrictd licence, i’m going to the beach, by myself, in the middle of the day when no one will be there.

because i’m so unconfident about my body and everything i perceive as being wrong with it.. when i was like 12 i would swim all the time and i loved it so much and i wouldnt give a shit what i looked like.. but that was years ago and it seems as i got older i worried more and more about how i looked.. and yeah i’m 16 now havnt been swimming for years.. one day when i get my drivers licensce i’m just gonna drive out to the beach by myself and go in the water again, coz i really miss the water, i miss the gritty sand that would cling to my skin as i left the water… i miss the taste of salt in my mouth.. i miss the waves, i miss how it moved, all by itself.. a force in itself, a life of its own… ahh i miss it

this item just moved up on my list considering that i’ve just realized that i’d be able to do it easier than i’d previously supposed:

Previously i thought i’d be swimming in the ocean – hahaha…b/c i live so close to it now (practically walking distance)... but yeah, in the end i discovered it’s possible for us to swim at Hearst Gym… woo! so yeah, esp. since i’m home again for thanksgiving i can bring my swim attire back with me & go swimming again!
