I went to Athens summer 06 and the day we visited the acropolis was just perfect because it wasn’t too hot, and cloudy so the sun didn’t bother your eyes.. anyway the acropolis is beautiful and breath taking and you can see the athens sky line and its simply amazing. the only problem was that there are just wayyy too many tourists so you run into people constantly. I would recommend avoiding the summer crowd rush…but anyway it was beautiful and totally worth doing!!
