Kyna has Forensics camp, which is SUCH a pain!
I guess we all are learning about photography, even if we don’t take classes. I just can’t wait to get a new camera, so I can go outside and have the time of my life(:
How I did it: saw a course announced on the newspaper and decided I wanted to go for it. Started asking around if someone was selling a used camera and found one in mint condition, bought it and the rest is history...
Lessons & tips: -observe, there can be a million shots in a single place, -take tons of pictures (I learned more from taking pictures than from the course itself)
-learn to "smell" light and use all light sources to your advantage
-admire other photographers and their works, it can be inspirational
-look at life as if its a movie, will open up your perspective and give you great photo ideas

neonhearts is visualising what she wants for the next 6-12 months
And I am still loving going to class, I have been learning SO much. I think I might have finally found what I want to do with my life (or part of)!

And I’m so very excited, yet also extremely nervous about meeting new people and embarking on this epic journey.
I think I need to gag my brain sometimes and stop it from worrying unnecessarily!
I’ve started preparing by reading up on some books and looking at some websites, starting new photographic projects (see my start 26 things goal) to get the juices flowing!
xx

I’ve applied to get into a Certificate IV in Photoimaging – I had to submit a portfolio.
I only found out about the class a week before the folio was due, so that week I was rushing around to get it done and sent…but I did it!
AND I GOT IN!!!
I am so excited and so proud of myself :)
The next stage of my life is beginning :D
MajFrukt wonders if it possible to find a job that can defines herself
It turns out that I need to have a specific camera to take the classes. In order to get it, I plan to to apply for credit card. However, they required me to have state ID, so this is the step I should take very soon.

Next step is to translate the transcript. Already order the tax form, so one little step at the time (better than none, right?)

I am thinking of going back to school and study photography.
Ballatrina is at work
As part of my Bachelor of Creative Technologies, with a major in Interior Design, I can also minor in Photography, which is my plan. This is still a while away yet though, as I need to finish my correspondence papers first (see my list) before I can go and study this. I’d like to maybe take a community college course in digital photography though, just to keep interested!
soopersooz is dreaming.
I am going to start by going to the library today. I will get some books on photography. Read them and learn.
Update: I have decided to register at NMSU to study photography in the spring semester.
