take better photos

I went through a really bad stage of not thinking about photography at all- just taking really crappy snapshots every now and then.

I can’t say my photography is where I want it to be right now, but I’ve started to think about my shots, as opposed to just randomly shooting, which is a nice change.

As for whether or not I’ll keep this up, who knows…but I hope I can keep these ideas long enough to implement them & genuinely try.

So I spent my Christmas money on buying a new Nikon D40 SLR camera, and its great. Before I was using a (crap) point and shoot camera, but with this I can definitely move on to better things. I’ve already taken many photos. The sunset photo here was taken from a moving car is proud

I’ve registered for an online class with a photographer I admire. The class starts on July 10th. Yeah!

this is the unfair part.

as a starting photographer, i will never think i’m good enough to stop learning.

but it’s ok, we all know, as time goes by, we all have to improve, right?
so i guess i’m on the right way :)

I should be good at it…which i am! But always room for BETTER as I’m only as good as my last photo

My camera refuses to take anything but AAA batteries, which last all of 1 hour. After haviing to go through my third pack of batteries my mom refused to get any more for the camera.
