jensathomewfiggy is thinking that there's so many more than 43 things I want to do!!
I signed up for a running group about 1.5 months ago and I’m loving it! I’m up to 3.8 miles! There’s a little bit of walking in there ;) but I’m running too!! Hurray! My goal now is to run a 5K. I have until May so I think I’ll be good to absolutely run the entire way. There are different groups within the running group. We use the “Galloway Method” – run 1 min, walk 1 min…then there’s run 2 min, walk 1 min..and so on. Try it – you’ll be up and running in no time!

So I joined the gym a few months ago – and despite mostly doing group fitness classes which I really enjoy I spend the ocassional weekend on the treadmill and have worked myself up to a good few km’s of running. Now I have a friend pleading with me to do a 10km even run with her so that’s the next challenge.

Okay, So I haven’t really learnt how to run yet but I have signed up to the gym and have started the odd jog in the treadmill or gym class that gets my running around kicking and punching. So I’m happy with that!!

Used a fun run as a goal to start exercising – now my PT tells me I have to walk – no more running!

I was running up to three miles at a time, two years ago. When I started taking a college class I stoped running and going to the gym. Now I am thirty pounds over weight, and having a hard time getting going again. My husband who is a great runner has also slacked off, but he is willing to run with me any time I want. I always find an excuse not to go even though I truly want to. we have been living in the Bahamaas for the past four months, and after spending my entire life in Washington state I find the weather the biggest excuse. I have alot of head aches due to the heat, so by evening time I hurt to much. I find going to the gym very embarassing becase I am not skinny.
So my goal is to force myself to go to the gym every day this week and cycle for 30 minutes. Next week bump it up to 45 minutes the week after 1hr. and by week four hit the pavement.
