Photograph things with letters on them to spell out my name

Tommorrow will be my first day at this..although not really going anywhere, but do u need to go somewhere, just in my kitchen, doing my make up, making cards, wrapping?

I am always trying to find an excuse to get my snapper out, this is the perfect reason to take a pic and even create a peice of art work and possibly if its any good, make up a collage for friends and family with their names. Thanks to those who thought of this goal.

My wife and I were in Syracuse, NY for a conference and we decided to go to the zoo even though it was pretty could and there was a bit of snow. I got a lot of good pictures. For a first attempt, I think I did pretty good. I’m not happy with all of the letters I got but some were really fun. I really like how the marks on the penguin makes such a nice “R”. I was really disappointed that the elephants were all hidden inside because I was counting on a trunk for my “J”. In case you can’t tell, it should spell “Jeffrey Scott Welton” The quality is rather poor because I copied and pasted the images into paint.

P.S. I am leaving this goal on my list because I really want to do it with my nieces at the Buffalo Zoo some day soon.

Really fun idea. I think I’ll do this for my boys.

I think this would be a really fun project to do with my nieces at the zoo. We can each try to find letters or things that look like letters to make our names. I can already see an elephant trunk as my “J”

I had fun gathering all the possiblities weeding through each letter (not like my name is long) to see which one I liked.

I’m going on a short vacation this weekend to the Twin Cities. I’ll have loads of letters bombarding me from all sides, so I should be able to find a few that I like. And, I’ll actually have the time to stop and photograph letters I like.
