learn to dance different dances (Tango, tapdancing, Flamenco, Salsa, krumping, Afrikan dances)

I used to be a dance instructor and taught the basics of ballroom dancing. I learned the tango, the waltz, foxtrot, cha cha, and merengue….and taught a class.
I did this for 6 months before I found something I liked better.

when iwas 12 yrs old i took dance clas we did salsa murenge everything i want to learn how dances like how they do in movies like dirty dancing and stuff thats simaler to that effect

I’m done with the class now, and I’m sorry. I loved the people and their quirks, how kind our prof was, and how much fun we all had!! I loved the looks we got from passersby, espeically when it was voting day lol, and the yoga class staring down at us, and doing the Tango with Kaitie (oh my it was marvelous!!!) the tango is definitely my favorite. the cha-cha, waltz, foxtrot, jitterbug, and polka are all nice too lol. the foxtrot is great, yo ucan do it to just about anything! ahhh… I will miss this class!!

I’ve got one version of the waltz down. It’s very simple, but it works. Add a couple embellishments and tadah! marvelous :-P

This class is great!! We’re starting off by learning the waltz. We’ll eventually learn the Foxtrot, Jitterbug (that word makes me giggle), Tango, and others. There are, thankfully, a lot of guys in the class, so there’s only like 4 or 5 girls who had to pose as guys. the instructor is really laid-back and encouraging. I’ll really look forward to this class every week!

It’s been a year and a half since I started with the Africa Dance class at the WBC!! I take go to class every sunday as other people get up and go to church!! Dancing to the pounding energy of 18 live drummers connects by body to pure life sustaining, enhancing energy!!!!! Love in the true sense of the word!!!!!

Morning wiht V, helping her correct papers; mid-day at African Dance class getting touched by 1000 volts of light; drumming circle with kat afterwards, cool hanging; dinner with family; salsa with L and Jorge from Peru!!! So much energy and life in one day!!

i kind of learned the soulja boy dance over thanksgiving… does that count?

I’m taking a class for my PE requirement, called “social dance.” I have NO idea what it means by that, except that there is dancing involved!! Who knows, maybe I’ll get to learn something worthwhile! <3
