I’m trying to create a life for myself; and it’s just not going to work if I’m going to sleep 12-3 AM. I need to take my pills by nine.

so far the only thing regular about my bed time is the fact that it is around 2-4 in the morning.

otherwise im going to be pretty fucked for when school rolls around.

Having a career has me in bed between 12 and 12:30. Sometimes I’m even there earlier than that.



Progress 18 months ago

So… having to be at work at 8 a.m. has changed my sleep patterns a little bit. There is no way in hell I can go to bed at 3 a.m. and make it to work on time, so my goal for the upcoming week is to be in bed before 1 a.m. Unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way last week when I overslept.

I will update at the end of the week about how things went this week.

I still don’t have a regular bedtime. I go to bed between 12 and 3 a.m. every night.

This pattern isn’t going to change anytime this semester, so I guess this needs to be something that I work on for next semester seeing as how I will have three night classes.



Not having success. 2 years ago

This one has been REALLY hard to do. I commute on public transit, and it’s about 90 mins each way.

By the time I get home at night, I try to squeeze everything in and don’t have enough time to get done what I need to do… so I stay up late.

I don’t know how to fix this, other than work from home… and that’s a hard sell for my job.

I still don’t have a regular bedtime, but I’m REALLY looking to enforce one this time because school and school activities consume my life and I need to get my sleep pattern under control.

I think I’m getting better at going to bed earlier except for some of the days when I was on spring break last week.

Last night, I made it to bed before 2 a.m. Tonight I’m shooting to be in bed before 1 a.m.

I think it might help me to be in bed at a regular time if I start making lists every morning of things that I need to get done so that I’m not trying to rush and get everything done right before that specific time.
