Jayme Once upon a time I ripped the wings from my spine.
I am placing this as “give up” only because I want to remove this from my list since I am now thinking of going a different direction with my career. However, this is still a goal for personal enrichment and so it is not finished either. They should really put a PENDING or “save for later” goal list. Hmmmmm…. I will put personal enrichment as a new goal!

I had the opportunity to take apologetics in a class last semester and the things we learned were truly amazing. One book I recommend is Building Belief by Chad Meister (who is actually the apologetics prof at my college)
a short example of an indepth explanation in his book:
The argument against relative belief- two things that contradict eachother can not both be right.
LOVE it!

This is the new book I am reading. I have only read the first section but already I am totally stoked. I will post any interesting (and possibly controversial) tidbits I find.

Most of the people i know get close to God by worship music and exuberant motivational speakers. those things have never really affected me that much. i feel close to him when i’m studying. the works of C.S. Lewis have brought me so much closer to him. i think that studying apologetics is the way for me.
the only problem is theres no one to help me. so its hard for me to find things to study.
