How I did it: It took a long time. We're still kids... well, they are, I'm a teen. We had been very distant for a while, until I decided to do it. I had to gain back the trust of my siblings, and make sure I never got angry at them. It doesn't help that they're both guys and I'm a girl... but, when they started wrestling for the first time since I had decided to make this my goal, I soon learned to go with the flow and tackle one of them! Now, we're so close.

Lessons & tips:

  • Remember to stay in contact with them
  • Don't let an argument get in the way... chances are, they want to make up as much as you do!
  • Don't always go running to your parents
  • If you're grown up, host a family reunion

    We are not on bad terms but we could be closer. I have some issues with my older brother and he has issues with me. We seem to get along but I wish it was organic. My little brother is from my dads second (or third marriage but who’s counting) I am fifteen years older than him. I am concerned that we will never really get to know each other or be truly close.

    I don’t know how to do this. Family and friends are important I need to hang onto the little bit I have.
