adopt a llama

Well I signed the contract today. So I’ve officially adopted a llama, for an half of year, but I have… And I’m going to continue while I have money.

I’ve asked two of my friends about helping me. Friend no.1 emailed me:”I’m sorry to ask you, but… are you getting a bit burned (read crazy) on the sun, or what?” That was a large disappointment for me. And after my mom didn’t support me I thought I’d give up. But today I asked friend no.2 and he said:”Well, yeah, go for it, I’m with you!” And I’m really excited now, because, yeah I could adopt a llama soon. (smiley face)
next action: Ask all people from my list

So I decided that adopting a llama in local ZOO is a way better than buying my own llama. The year cost of something like this is 12,000SKK (approx. 360 Euros). I want to pay a half of the amount if I find somebody else to do it with me, or I’ll pay the whole amount on monthly basis.
So my next step is… Make a list of people that might help me Then… Ask everybody on the list about it

Well, I thought about it a bit last week. Because I visited Bratislava’s ZOO and saw a paper of cost of food for an animal a year. And there I saw it – a llama. But there’s no llama in the ZOO so, why is it written there? Anyway it evoked a feelin’ in me, that to buy a llama for ZOO and donate it a bit, would be better than having one on my own. There are professionals which, could take care of it and I could visit it as often as if it was in my garden, I would just have to travel a 5 km. I’m not sure, but this would better for the animal too.

This is not a goal, which needs any explanation to know, what I want to achieve. So you now know I want to get a llama.
Week ago I did some research on this theme on internet and I found out that llamas are not that unusual as pets. Now I have to focus more on the llamas at my country. Then on their needs, to know if I can afford and keep such a great animal.
