keep my fish alive

The three fish I won at the fair died, as is the usual course of things, within a week of my winning them.
But now! Now I have a betta. His name is Montu, he is very pretty and I will keep him alive. Montu is the Eqyptian god of war, and a betta is a fighting fish, so that means the odds are good that he’ll try to live, right?
Right?

Montu is dead. I have no idea why. My next attempt will not be for awhile yet. 4 years ago

so that didn’t work. we got anchorworms with a fish from petco and it killed all six of my goldfish before i got the mail-order worm poison from the internet. the betta are still alive though, so i guess i’m not a total failure. 6 years ago
