go helicopter snowboarding

My dad has gone helicopter skiing many times and he brings back the most amazing pictures and memories. There could be nothing better then fresh, untouched powder, the world at your fingertips. It would be the most exhilarating feeling in the entire world

I pulled out some old Teton Gravity Research videos, and every time they get to the part where the riders get helicoptered to peaks around Valdez and Girdwood, all I can think is “That’s for me! Oh, that’s me! There I am! That is sooooooo me!” And you know, I’m not picky. I don’t care to do a first descent. I’d be fine with second, third, fourth, whatever. Just give me some steep deep endless fresh powder. I just wanna touch it.

There is no excuse for letting another winter go by without trying this. It’s right here. Chugach Powder Guides is right here. The only obstacle is that little $600/day thing. How imaginary is that obstacle? What… if… I… just… stop. clutching. the. money.

or near Girdwood. I’m not picky. Any pristine untouched Alaskan mountain will do.
