How I did it: well i have wanted a tattoo for a long time hence the 8 years and the more i thought about it i just didnt know what to get. i was in a city with my friend when she decided to get a tibetan tattoo and i impulsively decided i wanted a tibetan friendship symbol.. don't ask why tibetan i just really liked the symbol and my friends mean the world to me i figured it was the one for me, some days i look at it on my wrist and think maybe i should have got it done somewhere else but other days i absolutely love it.. im a gemini so i think i was going to have that anyways i'm always changing my mind! def happy though,love my friends and my new tattoo!

I wish to get a tattoo of a ying yang for balance in my life, a hourglass for time is precious, and a small crow for I will always be like the bird that is my last name. These are symbols that mean something to me and I will not get a tattoo that does not mean something to me.

I’ve always wanted a tattoo. I want something that means something to me. It doesn’t need to mean anything to anyone else. I’ve finally decided what I’m getting and I’m getting it done this Sunday!
I have been planning on getting a small tattoo on my left wrist since I was sixteen years old. I was always saying I would get it as soon as I turned eighteen and I just never did. Its the kachina symbol for god and the motion of life.
I ultimately chose it after a trip to some ruins up north, where I bought a small guide to native american petroglyphs, and became attached to the symbol for no good reason. The problem is that it resembles a swastika, and while the swastika was a spiritual symbol longer than a symbol for hatred, it is still recognized as the latter. I intend to get this tattoo anyway, and will modify it so that it doesnt resemble such a controversial symbol as much.
I have 2 tattoos that I got at pivotal times in my life. One is on my lower stomach and it is of Curious George with his eyes closed. Sound stupid huh? Well when I was 18 I needed a reminder that not even Curious George should see everything!
My second one is of a phoenix rising above a sun. This reminds me that I can get through anything! Get what means something to you now and you will look back and remember who you were.

I’m going to start a list of ideas and beliefs that are important to me, and just add to the list as I think of them. Then I’ll go through and think of symbols associated with each item on the list, as well as determining which are most central to who I am.
I have 3 designs to choose from…
1) I would like the reiki symbol meaing universal energy
2) I would like a grumpy looking tinkerbell
3) I would like a 5 pointed star inside a half moon
I’m too scared tho’ and cos I haven’t decided on one particular tatoo I’m still holding back…
Alot of my friends have said they wanted me to go get tattoos with them, and I would love to go, but I really want my tattoos to be very unique and something nobody would ever have on them because it is a Personal tattoo.
