I went to Wal-mart tonight and got the rest of my photos. There were lots of them, and I had to eliminate a few in order to get the entire year into one book (like I like to do). That’s what you get when you take two trips in one year (California and Atlanta). But I got it finished. Although I am about to move this over to the finished side, I still need to keep up on this task. I need to look around for another cute photo album to start putting 2009 photos in. Perhaps every month I could get my photos printed and into the book right away. It won’t be so daunting if I stay current.

Lucky for me, all my photos were in order on my computer. And I only had two years of photos in piles. It took me about an hour to get all the 2007 photos in a book. Then I spent another 30 minutes separating the first half of 2008. They are now in the book as well. Finally, I had to finish up by uploading the second half of 2008 onto the Walmart website. They are currently under-going the 1-hour-photo process over there. Later tonight, I will go pick up the last half, put them in order and get them into the book. This didn’t take long at all!

I am only 2.5 years behind in my organization of photos. This won’t be a huge task, but I want to get on top of it. My friend Jennifer is like 7-10 years behind on organization, and I really don’t want to get to that state. It becomes harder to put them in order and know what they are as the years pass.
I have been looking for good photo albums for the last few weeks. I am shocked by how few Wal-Mart has. I really only like one kind of album, so my being picky is part of the hold up. Today I found some that were okay (nothing great) at Target. But I am amazed by how much money they cost. They were each $14-$20. I haven’t bought any new photo albums in several years, but this seems outrageous!
