reconnect with my brother

My brother was, as he has told me, a recovering meth addict. He came at me all smiles and giggles on FB wanting to chat. I haven’t spoken to him in 4+ years. I have limited trust of him and what he says. He kept going on and on how debt free he was, even though he wasn’t working and his in-laws were paying all the bills. I cracked and asked him why then Mom still gets at least 4-3 calls a wekk of debt collectors looking for him. It seems he didn’t like it and deleted me as a friend. His wife is now telling me I am a unforgiving, rotten Christian. I didn’t mean to hurt his feelings but not talking about what is really going on is just a lie and I couldn’t do it. I feel like if he is this NEW clean Christian man then he needs to remedy the past and get these collection agencies off his Mother’s back since he gave her info out instead of his own!

So he called me and left a message; then I called him and left a message. It has been about 10 months since I have talked to him.

I e-mailed him and he e-mailed me back. The situation is complicated so I am not going to go into details, but I think that everyone has had family problems.

Combination of his mental health and busy lives.
