How I did it: First semester of college, nervous? Yes. What if I'll fail, not get a gpa above 2.0...I'm a huge slacker! What about the reading ? I heard it's too much.


Fast forward some time in the future. I'm in college, the classes are pleasantly easier than I thought they would be, and so interesting!

All I learned is that it's all up to you. You can chose to fail or pass. I did the majority of hte assigned reading, did the homework, wrote essays and passed the midterms.

My grades came in and I got straight A's in my four classes, giving me a 4.0 gpa! I've never had a GPA this high.

Lessons & tips: Do your work! Participate in class, get to know the professor/teacher just a little bit more -- shows you have an interest in their class.

Pass the midterms and final, and you'll be good.

    It’s been a long journey. I find myself slacking and BS’ing a lot when I’m in class. I also partied and went out way too much in the past, which is why I’m still a 25 year old undergrad! I hate school, but I need to finish this. I’m at my last semester.

    Currently, I’m a junior at CHS. I am taking C.A.R.T Engineering and Product Development (I don’t want to be an engineering, but the class is a lot of fun!). Also, I’m taking Geometry (i know, math is not my strong subject), and U.S History. Its almost at the 6-week deadline so I’ll let you know how my first grading period goes! Hopefully good!

    My Third Year 2 months ago

    I completed my 2nd year of dentistry. The second year wasn’t easy it was hectic. I was worried all the time whether I would pass all my classes or not. I never felt so worried about passing. But thank God I passed them all, with Bs! Except one I passed it with a D+ which frusterated me, Anatomy! It wasn’t easy at all. But it affected my GPA alot cause it was multiplied by the 5 hours!!!

    I’m starting my third year at 3rd of October. Hopefully I’m planning to put more effort and focus more in classes and studying. Especially that it’s gonna be more challenging, more classes!

    By God’s help hopefully I WILL pay more attention and effort and pass ALL my classes with really good grades =)

    Every year i some how managed to pass my classes with A/Bs by doing no work and never studying for a test. Last year it back fired and i got C/Ds! I don’t want that to happen again this year so i need to start work before the day its due in and learn how to study! AH!
