Pray Ginger makes it through the night!

Prayers were answered and Ginger made it through the night. He’s still not 100% but i’m sure with lots of TLC today he’ll be back into mischief in no time. big grin

Our cat Ginger had a quiet day resting today (or so I thought). He was sleeping on my bed, slept right through my daughter’s birthday party, and still napping well into the afternoon. Although not unusual for him to nap most of the day away, it is NOT usual for him to do it when the house is full of noisy teenagers.

After all the partygoers had left I checked on him and found he could barely move and was almost paralysed in the back legs. At first I thought it may be a tic, and checked him all over but couldn’t find any signs, yet when i touched his left side he gave a big long woeful meoooooooooooooowwwwwww!

A trip to the vet revealed a deep wound to his left hind leg which I had not detected. A quick shave, and several shots and hopefully he will be feeling much better in the morning!
