We have now come back from Singapore and had a great time. We particularly enjoyed Sentosa Island where we had a look at their Merlion and surrounding gardens and Fort Silosa. We also enjoyed the zoo and Night Safari. The latter being particularly spectacular. It is a destinationation we would particularly recommend. I forgot to mention that the Singapore flyer also has some spectacular views.

We are now doing our final packing tonight. Tomorrow we will head to Brisbane and fly out on Sunday to Singapore. I am not sure if we will be making any entries over the next fortnight but after that we will be back with entries about our holidays.

One week to go before our holiday and we will be washing, packing and very importantly double or triple checking all documentation and tickets etc. Looking forward to leaving next saturday (4/7/09).

We booked a cruise in Singapore on a 15th Century boat. It should be interesting to see the harbour and nearby areas.

Today we booked our ride on the Singapore flying. It is a moving boservation deck like a giant ferris wheel. I am looking forward to this.

More Mobile.

Yesterday we bought a new stroller which raps up in a bag when you do not want to use it. This will be particularly useful for our trip to Singapore because it will allow us to carry it on the train system and to bring it on the plane as carry on luggage and have something for our son to ride in when at our stop over in Darwin. Consequently, we will be more mobile in our travels and have a stroller for our second car.

We double checked our bookings with our motel and found a slight error. Over coming weeks we will double check everything to make sure it is all on track (15/07/09).

I printed out our correspondence with our motel this morning including our booking. As well as this we rechecked entry regulations. So only 4 months to go and we are going on our holiday. Starting to get slightly nervous.

We booked our car into airport car parking today so another thing has been organised and we found a shuttle bus service for when we arrrive at Changi airport. So things are slowly getting organised. I will also have to organise our motel at Brisbane during the week and write out a reminder list of things to bring on the trip.
