For the last couple of weeks i went to the gym diligently. I’m still no big fan of sports, but i don’t hate it either. I’m feeling healthy and quite content. I think i will put this thing-to-do into the i’ve-done-it section. That way i’ll have to keep it up!

Yeah, went spinning yesterday! I didn’t want to go, it was raining etc. But i went and i’m a little bit proud.

I really, really hate exercising! I don’t like to get out of breath, i hate the fact that my heartrate goes up. I utterly dislike getting tired…I’m a lazy person. I prefer sitting on the couch and read a book or watch tv. But i’m getting older and i have flappy arms. So when i wave, a lot of flesh waves with me… And being out of breath after a short run feels disappointing. So, here i go, twice a week!

I’m a pansy when it comes to exercising. I know this. My goal for now is to focus on the actual work exerted toward exercising(in calories), because at this point I have no endurance. To me, 400 calories is freakin fantastic for Monday(and my elliptical machine measures this), however I can’t tell you how long or quick I was with all the breaks I took. It’s most likely embarrassing :)
Sunday 4/26- 400 calories on the elliptical
Monday 4/27- 10 minute walk
200 calories on the elliptical
Tuesday 4/28- 500 calories on the elliptical… BOOYAH!
Wednesday 4/29- 10 minute walk

I’m actually exercising 3 times a week for one month now :-).
I’m very proud that I keep the promise I made to myself…I just have two little problems… I still don’t like exercising a lot… ofcourse I feel better after I exercized, but each time I still have to convince myself to go. Also I exercise with a friend, but if he can’t go, I won’t go by myself [luckily this just happened once] So..what should I do? Find another sport I like more? Kick myself to go anyway and just hang in there? Compliment myself each time I do go? I’m actually wondering how can I keep doing this, anybody ideas?
