"I have gotten a tattoo every consecutive year since 2006 and I don't think I'm stopping anytime soon."

How I did it: Well...I wanted a tattoo since I was about 15. I finally got my first one at age 19 while visiting family in Salt Lake City. Then I got my second one in July 2007 and my third in May 2008. I already have my 4th and 5th ones planned out but no word yet when I'll be getting them. I love them and I don't regret any of them. I'm just glad I waited a few years because I'm sure if I got something that I thought was cool in my early teens permanently drawn on me, then I'd have "survive laser tattoo removal" on my list somewhere.

Lessons & tips: Make sure you aren't drunk or hung over. If you're a wimp for pain, just keep in mind there are much worse ordeals to go through. Like child birth...or genital wart removal.

    i really don’t wanna go like ink crazy but i would really LOVE a tattoo on my left wrist of a star… but it will have to wait until i’m legally old enough to defy my rents, bummer, I KNOW. i’ve heard ones on the wrists & ankles hurt like absolute fuck, but oh well, thats where i want it.

    I’d go out and accomplish this goal RIGHT fucking now…if I could! But I am but merely seventeen. So no tattoos until April 12.
    ——However… when I am legal to go off and defy my parents: I’m getting my Aries symbol on my right lower hip (like underwear region) My first and middle name in Arabic on my left shoulder blade, maybe Stephen Crane’s “The Heart” poem written out in Latin or Hebrew along my right side (not sure, maybe I’ll just stick with a Latin phrase and some Celtic shit)

    Mostly I am sure of The name and Aries symbol—-

    and I’m very sure of the places I’ll be getting my tattoos. Nothing on the belly, nothing on the lower back, nothing on the ass cheek or ankles or arms thank you very much. Only on my stomach’s side, along the ribs, on the shoulder blade, MAYBE the nape of my neck, and on my hips. that’s it. But I could get addicted and go ink crazy. We shall see!
