I’ve lent quite a large sum of money out, especially considering I really couldn’t afford to. I can’t say no to a friend… at least I couldn’t- now I won’t do more than 5 or 10 bucks to anyone, and definitely not if they already owe me money… but what am I supposed to do? Break their legs? I’m not in the mafia.
Maybe one day I’ll see it.

I lent a particular family who now live in Cyprus a considerable amount of money ( in excess of £5000)when they were in a bad place and now this family (both father and daughter)are basically thumbing their nose at me. Initially, when I lived there, their monthly instalments, although always late or a bit short, arrived in my bank account. Now,I’m back in Britain, they really dont care. I’ve sent them text messages and the daughter texted me back saying: “Go whistle for your money”. I now have no option left but to go over there and try and get my money back. I know where both live and work, and feel like printing posters and putting them outside their workplace. I know I wouldnt do this, but I’m so angry these peope have used me. What would YOU do.

laughs I don’t think that will ever happen. So I think I will just let it go and forget about it, doesn’t really bother me I have learnt not to depend on money you are not guarenteed to get, and never lend more than you can afford to lose cause really you are taking a gamble, and I would not put money in a pokie machine without knowing I can afford to go without it.
