SInce I have been back to work, things have been going swimmingly. I really dislike one of the Charge nurses who used to be my friend. She still thinks she is my pal, but I really dont want to listen to her tear others down and in general be useless. I find just ignoring her frees up so much time that I can get all the tasks done a little faster/easier. And I feel good when I hear her yakking (gossip) with other nurses, that I am just getting the work done. She does however have a reputation for sticking people in the back with a knife, so I have to watch it.

I’ve had perfect attendance for August.
I’m doing a bulletin board for the breakroom, on EMTALA
and in the next month I think I shall take the CEN exam and be done with it.

Also did not use the tech assigned to me for anything except some EKG’s yesterday. So that made the lasy tech happy too!
