Own a range rover.

Its the most beautiful thing i’ve ever seen.
I just know that i’ll get it by the time I’m 19.
which is great because its not that far away.

I want a Black Range Rover for my sixteenth birthday.
If i dont get one, im gonna shit a brick.

Land Rovers in general are pretty crappy cars. If you’d like to get a Range Rover, try to get an older one that doesn’t have any fancy electrical toys (hill descent control, automatic doors & windows, etc).

Our 2003 Discovery had numerous problems with the electrical system, windsheild sealant, fuse box, sensors, and the transmission. One fender bender cost $6k due to custom paint and the aluminum body….plus all parts have to be shipped from England and take a LOT longer than regular car repairs (plus a lot more expensive).

We’ve attended the Land Rover Mid-Atlantic Rally several times and seen more than our fair share of ‘trailer queens’ that can’t even make it onto the highway under their own power (and this is BEFORE the event, not after!).

Not to mention that they require premium gasoline (nothing under 93 octane)! We replaced the Disco with a Nissan Xterra and it’s been nothing but wonderful. I will never buy another British car again.

I really enjoyed my Gap year. too much so that my dad had to bribe me to get me to finally go to uni. So, when I graduate I get a Rover.
