How I did it: I was at an acting intensive and we got to take one of these classes, Its not as hard as it looks, to do the basic stuff, and once you get it down the rest is so varied and fun. Lessons & tips: Wear good shoes, Have a partner who is close to your height, Have fun and dont be afraid to improv a bit

I just found out Kristen Stewart is learnig to swing dance.
That makes me want to do it even more!
I am really upset though.
I found out that our Social Dance Club was doing three weeks of swing dance lessons…& I missed them!
BOO!
I don’t really have the time to go anywhere & take a class…hopefully someday soon I will be able to.

Through a quick search on Google, I found two local groups that do weekly swing events and teach lessons. And it’s cheap! For a mere $5, you get an hour long class with a dance afterward. :D I can’t wait to try it out!

My friend is in swing dance club at her college, and has gotten pretty good at this. She’s trying to teach me the basics, but I need to start practicing with a guy. Zach said he’d help us, and collapsed lung boy will too if he gets time! Yay~

There’s a ballroom dance class being offered by the city just east of mine, once a week for $45. The instructor only offers a few styles, and nothing’s been confirmed yet, but I hope it includes swing.
Sign-ups are being taken after Labor Day. Yay!
