i ordered one from Spiegel for $40 (enter 222 discount code) including shipping (isn’t that brill). naturally, not a minute later i found another one i liked better but which probably costs ten times more.

Definitely worth the initial cash. I have several but I seem to always come back to the same one. I look good in it at any event.

I’m never without a couple of Little Black Dresses in my closet, usually one with sleeves and one without.
If I had to pick just one, it would be the Diane von Furstenburg classic wrap dress. I got mine about eight years ago off a sale rack and have eprobably worn it a hundred times. A-line, wrap around—flatters everyone. It was never really “in style,” so it never goes out of style. I love it!

I’ve tried everywhere to look for that little black dress, but I still haven’t found that one that I think is the best for me. I tried Dress Barn, but their dresses are either too plain, too fancy, or too grandma. I use to have a cute little black dress, but I don’t know where it went. It would definitely come in handy in the future. Where can I find a cute little black dress?

I’d rather live in color.

Ava Gardner is wearing (see photos or icon). But I think it may be a lil’ too sexy for a work environment (although perfect for a “working girl” environment!).
I’ve still got some weight to lose. Right now I’m a little over average weight but I’m 5’5” so even ten pounds can make a big difference. I’d like to lose 20 more (I’ve lost about 5). Although, heck, any weight loss (while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle) is a good thing.

It’s very charming and Audrey Hepburn-ish. It is also $220 dollars (its made out of satin). I could probably find a cheaper substitute, after I finish losing weight.
This seems like a silly goal, but after all they do come in handy at the last minute. If you’re a guy you’ll just have to trust me on this one. There have been several occasions where I needed a nice dress, but didn’t have anything suitable (everything was either too long, too short, too revealing, too prim, you get the picture)....

It’s weird because I bought the dress “just because” and I figured I really wouldn’t like it. But once I tried it on and wore some heels with it; the dress looked pretty damn good on me.
