walk barefoot on the beach

It feels good to walk barefoot on a sandy beach. There’s something pleasant about the warm sand between toes. :-)

to walk on the beach??

I love walking along the beach, with the water washing over my feet, late in the day before the sun sets but when it isn’t high and hot overhead . . .

Damn, it is has been entirely too long since I’ve gone to the beach. I should do that . . . well, maybe next weekend, since I have to go to Orlando this weekend.

Walking barefoot on the beach by the surf is fun. Just be sure to have a pair of flip flops on hand to protect your feet from the hot sand that you need to pass over when coming and leaving.

I lived closer to an ocean. There’s just something so calming about the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore, feeling your feet sink into the warm sand, watching the sunlight dance on the water, and having the wind run its fingers through your hair. Walking on the beach always makes me feel quite insignificant, like I’m not the one in control.

Perhaps, in a way, that’s why I like it so much.

I want to do this every chance I get for the rest of my life. Sand between my toes is good for my soul.

but as often as possible!

One of those experiences you just have to do in your lifetime. It is deeply renewing, and amazing beyond comprehension.

The sand between my toes, the waves lapping at my feet and legs..the beach is awesome.

You have to do it atleast once, but sand can get annoying. It seems to go everywhere and does not want to come off easily on clothing, sandals, towels, etc.
