In my youth (well, teenage years) I was cynical and jaded and I was very much like miranda. but i fell in love. Now I’m such a romantic. And I don’t even date anymore unles it could be something that could develope into love. I’m a total charlotte. I’m not yet looking to get married or anything but I am looking for Mr. right and our taste in china silverware must be compatible.

I’ve been watching that show and reading the Candace Bushnell books since I was 13. I think there are many insights and many things that happen that I want to avoid. I want to be an indepandant, witty, successful woman who does what she loves, goes to lunch with her girls, has a shoe splurge, have a great sex life, a fab gay best friend, and every other person in town thinking I’m fabulous!

Doesn’t work, women are biologically weak to emotional attachement with sex. Sex more than once with the same guy is dangerous. Sex four times and you’re planning the wedding.

Sex like a man makes you start wondering what you’re doing. No girl wants to be a slut, but sex like a man is what sluts do.
Do guys want girls who are emotionally distant? Not for girlfriends they don’t.

I don’t have to be Carrie Bradshaw to take her advice!
