Am soooo stoked.

How to get my second tattoo"A-fucking-mazing"
How I did it: I spent alot of time trying to find an artist who's work wow'd me. When I started talking to Keith, I realized I'd found exactly the right one. When we started talking, he was working at the Fall in Vancouver. Unfortunately, two days after I came in he had a pretty major disagreement... with the owner. How I did it: well i woke up this morning, decided that today was the day, I got my roommate to take me up to phat katz she used to work there. i had the design picked out for years. i gave it to the guy, the owner actually, Bryan E. Wallace, he redrew it made some minor changes to it, and asked if i was ready. i sat down in the chair and he got to work, he cleaned my arm, laid the design out on my wrist, lined it with black and then filled … Read how I did it…

So things are back on track for my tattoo – I hunted down the fonts and sent them to my tattoo artist today and I will, financials allowing, be getting my second tattoo on June 30th or thereabouts.

So there’s been a glitch in this particular goal – the artist at The Fall where I wanted to get tattooed has been fired. He’s moved to Tip of the Needle in North Van, but I’d like to know why he got fired, so I’m going into The Fall today to ask them if it’s going to affect his ability to tattoo.
But if all goes as planned, I’m still going to be tattooed by him, it’ll just take a bit more travel time than I was planning on. I’m still waiting on my tax return cheque so that I can afford it. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Gitsie0Rivets Slow and steady progress.
My next tattoo is going to cost at least $300. I keep changing the idea for it, too. But I know I want it colored and it will be on the back on my left shoulder. It will be a take on the old-school gypsy, but it is going to be a little bit different.
I am designing my own, being a fine arts graduate. But I am having who ever will do it fine-tune it. In my head it looks great. I just hope it will translate.
The first step toward tattoo fun: get a job.
Lisa089 every mile a memory..
i’ve finally found the proper word for my tattoo. all i have to do now is take it to Express U and see if they can make some design for it.
QiLiXiang is pining for the moon... and what if there were two in orbit?
im working on it..
I have the design (it will be white ink), I have the spot on my body picked out (my inner wrist), I have everything. Except the money. Well, that’s not even true…but my dad is always harping that I spend too much and I just bought a new iPod, and need to fix my digital camera.
It’s on the backburner…but will be done by the end of August, I’ve decided!
i have the place picked out, and i have the picture of the tattoo in my head but i have yet to have it translated onto paper. as soon as i get something sketched up (by who??) i’ll be getting myself inked up. i’m hoping & praying & planning that this will happen in the next 3 or 4 weeks.
It looks like this will happen in April. And it’ll most likely be matching tattoos with Erin and Tracy. I can’t wait!
docrivs what's up, my 43 things friends?
my first tattoo was a rather large piece on my back. that took a long time to finish, and it was rather painful at times. my second tattoo was an celtic cross, designed by a myself and a friend, that was done on the side of my lower leg. that was considerably a less painful experience, for the most part. plus, it didn’t take much time at all. however, the stippling, which was necessary because the gun was homemade, was very painful. all in all, the pain was totally worth it! i love to look at my tattoos. sometimes i wish i could see the one on my back a lot better, though.
