Yesterday I went parasailing on Lake Tahoe! I had no idea what to expect, but it wasn’t scary at all Once you start floating up into the air, it feels completely still and quiet – like you’re barely moving at all, just drifting weightless above the water. Katie and I were up there for about 15 minutes before they dipped us in the water then reeled us back in. Altogether an incredible ride – I’d definitely do it again sometime, given the chance!

This goes in the research pile. No idea where I’d do this around here but I can defintely look into it seriously this year, at least get an idea anyways. More next time.

was so relaxing! I had no fear at all. It was just me, the air and the sea under, it was magical. I recommend trying to everyone!

This was really really fun. It is very quiet up there. I did it in Mexico.

    totally worth the experience.
The fear is gone as soon as you’re in the air.

I’ve wanted to try this for a long time, but didn’t know what to expect. It was not at all what I thought; it was MUCH better!

When you are up in the air, you do not feel the sensation of movement at all. In fact, this is what I imagine weightlessness would feel like. What shocked me the most was the silence up there, as I expected the rush of wind to be deafening. The view from the air is priceless.

Absolutely a must-do for anyone who is interested in the slightest.

When we lived in Hawaii, I went parasailing with my hubby and a friend. It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it to everyone out there!

I am a bit afraid of heights (which I think is a natural fear for most humans), and I also despise that falling sensation that you get on rollercoasters… so I was really nervous!

I’m happy to report that parasailing is not like flying, and there is no falling sensation at all. It actually feels more like floating. It’s the neastest sensation. It’s as though you have suddenly become weightless, and you just float away from the earth.

It is not something I can clearly describe with words. They do not justify the adrenaline rush that comes from sitting on a boat and 30 seconds later flying through the sky. It is the complete feeling of freedom. The view was incredible, I suggest taking a camera up with you because after a few seconds of being up there you no longer have the desire to hold on!
