Pomegranate’s are so good. Too bad they are seasonal :(
How I did it: My Grandmother had a pomegranate bush. As a kid I would help her pick the ripe ones and she would give me a couple to eat.
You peel pomegranates from the bottom up. The skin is quite thick and comes away easily. Inside there are rows and rows of juicy seeds attached to membranes.
You just eat the juicy part around each seed, not the seed itself. The taste is sweet and delicious, a little bit like cherry.
You can eat each seed separately or you can take a mouthful of seeds off the membrane and chew. If you take a mouthful, you are then left with a mouthful of seeds. This is great for spitting competitions or for spitting at your friends. Pomegranate spitting wars are great fun.
Lessons & tips: A sophisticated way to use pomegranate seeds is to put individual seeds in a whisky glass of crushed ice. This makes a really refreshing "palate cleanser" between courses. Good for impressing anyone you want to impress with your sophisticated way-out-ness.

i’ve never had one. but i’ve always wanted to!
they’re quite healthy i’ve heard. and also quite delicious! and drinks and other things with pomegranate flavoring are always yummy. :)
Yum. I love the taste, but i don’t like picking at it. It’s annoying, but worth it. :)
It was so worth it. It’s pretty easy to break apart and get to the arils when it’s submerged in water.
It tasted really weird, and I’m not a big fan of seeds, but it’s kind of impossible to avoid them.
I had the juice and enjoyed it so decided I’d try the real fruit. Ewww!! It was really not worth it, I will stick to the juice!
It’s a wonderful fruit and even if in my country is not very cheap, it’s worth eating.
I want to eat one again… :D I think I’ll pay a visit to the supermarket…
