How to get snakebites

How I did it: Okay, so the peircer took me back and sat me on a chair, then he cleaned my lip and had me rinse out my mouth. he marked the spots where the studs were supposed to go, and then after I confirmed them he took the clamp and placed it on my lip. he took the needle and had me take a deep breath, then as I breathed out it was done. Just a little pinch, that's all (: reepeat. Lessons & tips: research it. Resources: the internet?

How I did it: I had the left side of my lip pierced for a while before i finally got the other side done. Ive now had the right side done 5 times because i kept loosing the ball from the bar and having to take it out. 3 out of the 5 times i pierced it myself. I’ve wanted snakebites for a couple years now
but my parents wont let me blah blah the usual.
+ i play sports where i can’t wear them.
As soon as I’m 18 though, THE DAY WILL COME lol

I’ve wanted snakebites for the past year or so…thing is, I’ve noticed that piercings seem to be very much in at the moment, everybody has them. I don’t know if I want to follow the trends or not >_> or if I’ll be allowed…my parents are disgusted by lip piercings, and even though I could if I wanted to I respect their opinions a lot.

I got my snakebites on a Wednesday night at the Salty Dog in Fort Worth. Bear was my piercer. He was super professional (perhaps almost to a fault), and very experience. The whole process took about 5 minutes from checking my ID to putting the jewelry in. Both piercings healed up completely in about 3 weeks with no major complications.

I desperately want snakebites with spikes instead of the rings =] but, me mums a bum and wont let me get them, Ill have to convince me dad somehow haha ;] I also fancy a tragus piercing with a spike but that can wait aha.
Do yer think id suit them?
