I don’t care about the mud the rain the noise, the drunks, I just want to enjoy myself limitlessly, choosing amazing people to watch!
What has hindered me most from going sooner was the fact that plane tickets from the West Coast USA to England are over $1000 usually, and I’d have to drive over 250 miles to get to an international airport. However, this summer I am moving to Boston, and tickets from there to England are about half of what they are from San Francisco. This makes Glasto a much more realistic goal!
I’m going to fight hard to get my hands on a ticket to the 2010 fest. I have a friend who has been to Glasto a couple of times, so I’m sure she can give me pointers.
After a year of saving, we boarded the flight and set off for Bristol. The rain had already started so we decided to get a taxi the rest of the way. We arrived and put up the tent in the first field and watched the world go by. I remember getting very drunk and watching Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, but the best by far were The Killers. The rain did not stop and my croc wellies were my best buy. If you go, prepare for mud!
desperately seeking someone who’ll go with me… damn having girly, mud-phobic friends :D

I just paid my deposit on a Glasto ticket for 2009! Woo!
Putting the tickets on sale this early and allowing for partial payments is genius.
Im hoping for Radiohead headlining.
