I had a few dreams that had dogs in them, after which I got all excited when I woke up because I realized I haven’t petted a dog for who knows how long, and the dreams reminded me of the feeling.

I really am!

There are so many dogs of all sorts looking for a home or just looking for someone to get them out of the death camps. In my country we definitely have a problem with the amount of stray dogs and the policy of the government is – just catch them and kill them.
And there is only a handful of people trying to rescue them and to try to get them a home.

And I live with my parents, who are dog elitists and the only dog they would accept into their home is a poodle. So I just sit and wait for time to come to move out and finally help at least 1 or 2 dogs to have a life they deserve. And my heart aches whenever I browse through groups that are trying to help, knowing that, at this moment, there is absolutely nothing i can do.

Unfortunately my brother and I are highly allergic to pet dander. So someday I will hopefully find the right dog for me. 13 months ago
