I used to have a dog when I grew up. She was my best friend. When she died, I felt no other dog could ever replace her. Maybe now, if and when I get out of the city and live on the countryside, I will have a dog again.

I really would like this one but at the same time it is difficult to have a dog if you want to travel and have a rented house. While that, I can enjoy other people dogs :) I had a dog for 10 years in my mother’s house but the dog died. My mother doesn’t want another one as she wants to be free but I think it would be very good for here as she is living alone and complains about that.

my favourite breeds that are Jack Russell, Parson Russell Terrier and the Komfohrländer. Although i wouldn´t mind to adopt a dog as well. The problem is that i live in a tiny apt that hardly has any space for myself, so right now it´s difficult…but someday, soon…

I’ve lived with dogs, I’ve fostered dogs, I’ve petsit dogs. But I am definitely a cat person.

months later
I’ve continued to foster dogs. I finally fell head over heels for an italian greyhound—Vinnie. The first day I had him I swore I’d never adopt him, but now a month later I’ve added him permanently to the family.
Unlike the other foster dogs I really ‘get’ why people want a dog with Vinnie. He’s not perfect, far from it, but I like his crazinesses. I even like his smell!
