save my money

whenever ppl ask me I can’t say no.though i know i need my money.when i need I get toooo damn shy to ask ‘em for part of what i gave.

I made $7000 last yr, which i spent every single penny of it. so since i got ripped a new hole by my parents I decided to work and save $2000 by summer 2010…

I work for very little money per week. Its not that I don’t like the work that much I just don’t get very much for it. I keep spending it all on stupid things I don’t even need and as a result, within two days of getting paid I’m broke again.
The way I see it is that I need to save my money or I both won’t ever be able to buy things I really want and I won’t have the money for when I really need it.

Saving seems to be the logical choice really ^^

I’ve been working on this and it’s a real positive. I did my taxes right away and received a good refund which I’ve used to pay off some bills and bulk up the emergency fund. I created a workable budget that I am comfortable with.

Having a plan seems to be half the struggle, now I just need to stay committed to it.

As a child I would spend every little bit of money I received but now that I am making my own money I am much more careful with it and I have saved most of the money I have ever earned.

What I want to do is save even more because it makes me feel good in a way. Too many people think that the only way to have fun in life is to spend money but I have found that the challenge of saving money is just as fun as spending it.

It is quite possible to become rich just by saving and investing and that is what I plan to do.

I am terrible at saving my money and impulse buy all the time. I am always setting myself the goal of saving for something but i end up giving it up for the thrill of buying something there and then.

I opened up a savings account at my new bank. I’m rather good with putting the money in the account myself, rather than having my work actually put money into it for me.

I’ve currently been saving for a holiday (I have $2411 so far ^{^) that shall begin in three weeks ^}
After that I’ll be saving for things such as a car, my own place, etc.
I think I’m doing well so far ^^

i’m always broke. mostly because i spend all my money on weed but thats another thing im working on. i really need to save up because im moving into an appartment next year and i want to be able to have atleast enough saved for the first two/three months rent. i need to start putting more money in my bank account. when i have cash its never a good thing cuz i always use it. and i dont like useing my credit card very much. idk why. so if i make sure i always have a decent balance in my account i think i’ll be able to stop spending my money on pointless useless things.

Christmas spending has probably caused me problems. I didn’t go all out, but I didn’t keep a close eye.
I have changed my direct deposit to put 10% into my credit union account to use for food, gas and pocket money. The rest is for bills. The idea is to separate descretionary money from the directed money. What is left at the end of the month will go toward an emergency fund.

I need to create a plan and a budget, but I haven’t had success with that in the past. This time I may just create targets.

I hate saving and I am horrible at it, Id love to do it though!!
