How I did it: The Sun-In is still going strong in my hair. And to my friends who haven't seen me in months I already look quite blond. Even my family asks me if I dyed my hair and I just don't know what to say...
So I'm calling it quits for now on this mission. I have come to terms with being semi-blond. Partially in personality, partially in actual hair pigmentation.
I reckon it will be roughly 5 months or so until my hair is fully brown again, so until then I just don't want to stare this goal in the face every time I log on.

Apparently the Sun-in has proven quite effective. Each time my friends see me now, they always comment on how blond my hair seems. And I guess I never noticed because I’m always seeing my face and (unfortunately) my friends don’t see me often enough to differentiate. I was looking at some old pictures recently, and WOW my hair was quite dark brown. It was like dark chocolate. Now it’s more caramel colored.
...so I’m done with the Sun-In still. I got my hair cut recently and playing the waiting game for the blond parts to grow out. Apparently if you try to dye your hair with it in it could affect how the new color holds because the hairs are already damaged from the peroxide in the Sun-In.

My roots are growing ever so dark as the weeks pass on… and they’re very dark and my hair always looks greasy now lol. Actually I’m not laughing out loud >(
I’m thinking about like… getting some home hair dye and maybe just saying “fk it” and doing it myself. It’s just hair… and if I have to look like an a-hole for x months for it to grow out, so be it. 2 years ago
Just recently I’ve noticed that the Sun In really works. I have reeeally dark roots now. I never noticed how dark my hair was until now. Haha, my hair looks hecka greasy like this.
If I go blond, I’m going to have to seriously maintain it, aren’t I? It’s going to be a drastic change. I should have done this during high school so if I looked stupid, it wouldn’t matter. Haha. That sentence made no sense. 2 years ago

In January i’m going to dye my hair blond. All the hairdressers always had issues with dying over some other colour but this time i restrained from going to a salon so that the colour washe doff quite a bit! And i will make them do it for me! 3 years ago
