be a better dog owner

Romeo has an appointment on Saturday to get a haircut, a nail clip, a teeth cleaning, and a blueberry facial! Let’s she how much he hates this groomer…

Now I just have to get him in for a checkup!

I think I found a groomer for my little guy! They are a little pricey, but it’s NYC and they got good reviews. And they do a full service grooming that includes a bluberry facial, haha my dog is going to get better beauty care then I am! Hopefully I’ll get an appointment for this weekend..we’ll see..

I have a 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier, and I absolutly adore him. He is my best friend, and although he loves me and I love him I need to be a better dog owner sometimes:
-I live in a 5th floor walk-up in Manhattan and taking him for walks is such a feat, I need to stop being lazy.
-He puts up sush a fuss to be groomed, he’s just never liked it, and he’s a bit of a nervous dog so I’ve been putting it off, but he needs to get groomed soon.
-He’s behind on his shots, and I know I need to take him to the vet but it’s so expensive. I’m saving up little by little and hope to take him this month.

Well, it’s a start…I need to start being a better friend to him!

the 7th consecutive day of taking the dogs on decent-sized walks. Some days, 2-3 walks.

to brush my dogs’ teeth, but I think I really only ended up feeding them beef-flavored toothpaste.

for a long walk yesterday.

Alright I know we should do this, but I am not looking forward to it.
