Glasgow was a brilliant place to visit. I had limited time in Scotland (3 days) and I chose to visit Glasgow because that was where my mother was born, and she has not been back in 50 years. People kept telling me to visit Edinburgh, because it is ‘so much prettier’ than Glasgow, but I didnt have time. Glasgow was alot of fun. the people are very friendly and helpful, and flattered that I chose Glasgow over Edinburgh! Was very cold (December). Best place I visited there was the Necropolis (huge cemetery on top of a hill) Might sound a bit morbid, but gave me beautiful views of the city. Good times.
