I have been really naughty with my eating lately, but have managed to reign myself in. Going on holiday didn’t help matters! Last week I weighed 59.2kg’s and this week I am 58.4kgs. Not bad! I am the lowest weight I have been since deciding to make this a goal. Am more motivated to stay on the straight and narrow!

Have not had much weight loss for about three weeks, but today I got on the scales and I am now 59.8kgs – YES! Finally I am ‘officially’ under 60kgs…. am chipping away at it. Lots of people are asking if I have lost weight so it’s definately showing…
One week ago I weighed myself and I was 60.5kgs and this week I am 60.4kgs. Not much of a huge loss, but the scale is down rather than up! Have lost almost 2kgs and about three people have asked me if I have lost weight. So I am more and more motivated!
Well my sister joined weightwatchers about two months ago and she has lost 7kg’s!! She just consistently keep dropping weight every time she weighs in. People at work are amazed at how much nice she looks, you can see her facial features better and she looks so much more attractive. I have now got all the information on points, etc from her and have been following the eating plan for three days now. I actually feel more energetic. I think I was eating too much stodge before as well as eating about triple the amount that I am supposed to eat every day. My sister and I have noticed that by being proactive and taking on this new way of managing our diets, that it has made us proactive in other areas of our lives. So this is also helping with my goal of ‘Be More Productive’!
Last week I weighted 62.3kgs and this week I weight 61.1kg’s – this has really motivated me. I have my little note book and write down everything I eat and the points they cost. It’s kind of fun in a way. I have bought plenty of the foods that cost 0 points so I am pigging out on those, especially beetroot – love it!!
I had my BMI done today and it came to 25….. I am advised to lose 6 kgs, or at least 5.. can’t believe it. I thought I was on the heavier side of average… evidently not. I am overweight!!! I have always been scrawny and skinny my whole life so this is a bit of a shock to me. I don’t look overweight, though a little on the ‘curvaceous’ side. Anyways, I want to be healthy and of course look good, so I am going to have to pull finger and start exercising and eating healthier food, am sure I feel tired all the time because of all the crap I am eating. Need more fresh fruit and veg in my diet…. currently weigh 61.6kg’s : (
I was chatting online with my sis yesterday and we both said that we really need to make that ‘connection’ and start pulling finger about losing weight and getting fit. I also had a chat with my boyfriend last night. I showed him a picture of me two years ago and he was amazed. I weight about 52kg’s back then. I weighed myself first thing this morning and I was 60kg’s!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! I am holding it well though, I don’t look fat, just curvy, but as I said to my sister it needs to be nipped in the bud and good habits need to be formed as it only gets harder to lose weight the older you get….
Anyways, my plans are to increase my energy levels by drinking more water and getting at least 7 hours sleep per night (I am a bit of a night owl, so it’s going to take self-discipline!). I feel too exhausted to go for a run or a walk when I get home and it’s because of lack of sleep etc. So I am going to be strict about these and see how the energy levels go. As for exercise I want to run or walk around the park everyday or five times per week. Also want to do arm exercises daily (yes, I have mentioned this before) as my arms have lost their definition – I used to have lovely toned arms! Sigh…..
Anyway, so far so good, am also monitoring the amount of coffee and tea I am drinking (as I take two sugars per cup) and also trying to reduce to 1.5 spoons from today. Wish me luck!
Went running once and for two brisk walks this week. Not been sleeping too well so I have been tired when getting home from work. Otherwise I have been actively avoiding eating chocolates and fatty foods. Been eating salads in the evenings with low fat dressing. Haven’t weighed myself, think I am just going to measure my progress by how I look in the mirror and how my clothes fit me (ie to be able to fit into the clothes I used to wear 2 years ago!).
Last week I was pretty slack about exercising, think I did arm exercises once or twice, but yesterday I went for a brisk walk around the park and then I jogged around the park on the second lap. Muscles feel tighter today, feel good. Would like to do it again today. Hopefully won’t be too tired…
I think the best way for me to really kickstart this weightloss is to increase my muscle mass. Apparently when you hit your 30’s you lose muscle and this slows your metabolism down. Obviously avoiding the usual fatty foods helps as well.
Have been good the past week, went for a run around the park twice last week and on Saturday and Sunday did plenty of walking when I went to the Cotswolds. Need to firm up the arms so need to be strict about the arm exercises. Plan to go running four times this week, that’s my aim.
