electrified is not procrastinating
Yes please.
Because I’m 16, and not out of high school yet, I don’t have many options for jobs. I can only work at restaurants or grocery stores, both at the very bottom of my list. I’m giving up until I’m 18…

First week at a new job. I like it. No stress. Nice people. Free food.
Don’t want to jinx it. .so. .I’ll just say. . .first week at a new job. . .

Yeppers.. back to the search. That one didn’t turn out at all.

The work is great. . .so far. . .not sure if this is my dream job though. I wonder if I will ever know? I guess most people go through their lives doing jobs they hate or at least mildy dislike. .I guess I just don’t have anything better to do. It was a rough start in a small office. . .we’ll see.
Soon I have ended one more traineeship, and soon I have finilized my thesis, probably the next job that I will get will be for longer tima than any of my jobs so far.
This makes me thinking, what do I actually want to do? I have filled in some questionaries and tried to clarify what are my preferences, competencies, goals, values… etc.
Still the picture is not clear.
I have to wait 3 years in order to complete this goal. I can’t wait to get a job though. :’(

And just like that, I am employed in the feild I want probably doing exactly one of those things that bring up the phrase “I feel so guilty that they pay me to have this much fun.”
I start on Friday and I think this job could be. . .something. Hell, I’m not getting paid anything great, but, the chance to do something I love? Holy crap! These people think like me, talk like me. . .this has GOT to work. :D

I really want to get into a job I at LEAST like. I am getting out of retail and I am living with my parents. Nice, but, I really want to actually DO SOMETHING with my life. I guess once I figure out what I want it might get easier. I do have a recruiting firm getting me interviews for temp-to-perm work. I figure, rather than hearing about how great a job is and looking at a couple sentences of a job discription, I can try out the job and both the company and myself can figure out if it’s a good fit. I am so tired of wasting my life in dead-end, no-promotion jobs filled with stupid people!!
