Im 16 years old and i really want to lose 12 pounds before the summer vacation is over!

i am 14 years old and last year i lost 10lbs. this year i have lost 7.5 lbs. i understand that it is not good for you but i lost 17lbs total. i have a friend that is doing it and i am scared but i understand what she is going through right now. do not do it. i am still going untill i lost 20lbs.

it’s life changing. I want to wear the clothes I have been wanting to. I don’t want to hesitate anymore like i used to. Now I eat smaller meals and healthier, less fat less oil meals. And no more supper for me. :D

I was diagnosed as diabetic in February of 2006. During the subsequent 2+ years, I went through a lot of personal challenges, including two surgeries of my own.
While I’ve had moderate success, managing my diabetes, it is now time to really dig in.
I’ve moved to a home, joined a health club, and life has finally steadied itself.
I’ve lost about 8-10 pounds during the last six months, putting me in the low 180’s. If I get down to about 170 +/-, I’m certain my glucose numbers will decline, as well, and I’ll feel better, generally.
Ready or not, here I come.
So, I have gained like 5 pounds from the last time I posted here. I finally graduated and I am relax. I lost 1.4 pounds in two days. I was happy. Now I have to readjust my goal.
I started my diet today and I feel happy. I divided 3 meals of 370 calories and 3 snacks of 100 calories. This gives me an estimate of 1410 calories a day. My sister did this diet a while back and lost 25 lbs in five weeks. I do not want to lose that much, just 12 pounds by the end of May. I will be content with just that for now. Later as the summer goes by I will get down to 123 lbs.
I am a Senior in College. Graduation is just around the corner. I have gained a lot of weight and I have not been motivated enough to lose weight. I had recently lost 22 pounds but gained 5 pounds during April 2008. I wish to lose 12 pounds by the end of this upcoming month of May. I am excited and fascinated because I will traveling to Puerto Rico and also having Breast reduction surgery. I am 5’3”, 141.8 lbs, waist is 31” and 38C. I want to have a higher self-esteem. I want to lose this 12 pounds as a sign of triumph and determination. When I lose those 12 lbs I will begin another goal of losing 8 more. I want to weight 123 lbs by the end of June 2008.
