I’ve been doing awesomely at keeping my clothes off the floor. Sometimes I kick off my clothes and leave them on the floor before a nap, but I always end up hanging them up before I leave the house again. I either hang my clothes on a hanger or I hang them on one of the over-the-door racks I put on the doors in my room and bathroom. My room is cleaner, my clothes are cleaner, and as long as I make doing my laundry more often more of a priority, making and sticking to this goal will have really made some positive changes in my life.

I’ve started making this a routine when I get home from work. It’s sort of just natural, because it takes about zero effort (just locating hangers and sorting clean from dirty) and it usually has a snowball effect and I end up cleaning the rest of my room.

What a pain.

I keep them off the floor by flinging them on my desk, my bed, or on one of the over-the-door hangers so that I could accomplish this goal. It’s not accomplished in spirit though, and that’s a pain because I’d love to take the time to make sure my expensive clothes are wrinkle-free and taken care of.
